Anthony Mayell has lived a life as varied as the stories he writes. From studying art and music to working at the Royal Opera House, he later built a successful career in construction and property development before turning his attention to piano manufacturing, establishing his own company and producing instruments at scale.

Having lived and worked across England and Scotland, his experiences span industries, disciplines, and cultures, all of which inform his writing. His work is shaped by a deep interest in human behaviour, perception, and the unexplained.
